These services are aimed at addressing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements required to keep the home in good condition.  Some examples of service provision include air conditioning vent cleaning; installation of key safes, retractable garden hoses and basic home security systems; and light repairs.

Support Worker Training 

Support worker training refers to our educational programs designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to work effectively in a support worker role.  Support workers provide assistance, care, and support to individuals who may have physical, intellectual, emotional, or social needs. 

The training covers a wide range of topics to meet diverse needs of those they serve and include role and responsibilities; communication and interpersonal skills; person-centred care; health and safety; understanding disabilities and conditions; personal care and hygiene; medication administration; safeguarding and advocacy; documentation and record-keeping; professional development and self-care. Specific skills and techniques can also be implemented into the program to ensure support workers meet competency standards.
